Jewish American Heritage Month Spotlight: Rikki Grosz
Freelance graphic designer Rikki Grosz provides a unique sense of accessibility in her design work. Not much is known about her personal life as she chooses to protect her privacy. Thankfully, Grosz’s years of work speak for themselves.
Gorsz’s graphic design journey began at an early age. Her love for the medium led her to study the field at Queens College in New York, where she received her Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. The native New Yorker did a few internships before scoring her first position as a graphic designer (then Project Manager and Art Director) at the product company Sacatelle.
At the same time, Grosz worked as a freelance designer for major brands like Facebook, Google, and Bloomberg. After her time with Sacatelle, she became the graphic designer for the American Jewish Committee.
Rikki Grosz places a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness in her work. Being a freelance designer has allowed her to expand her repertoire beyond graphics. Utilizing everyday use and approachable design has made her an essential changemaker in the field. So, I say, “Ms. Grosz, we thank you for placing sensibility and uniqueness in your work.”
I give every single piece my whole, undivided attention.
